Avery’s new 12” out on Fabric Originals, marking 25 years of the capital’s iconic club, is (imo) his best and most club-oriented work to date. A side Wonderland is a huge slab of grooving, melodic techno that’s got ‘room 1’ written all over it, and is already on my list for tracks of 2024. B side, Running is the harder of the two, a dark and thundering industrial techno slammer. Heavy stuff!
