There are pretty much two eras of Pentagram's incredible 53 year career. Starting out in early 70s, the Virginia 4 piece were a blistering killer Hard Rock band rippin it up in the underground American Rock scene, only managing to release some demo tapes and singles. It wasn’t until 1985 the band would release their Iconic debut album ‘Relentless’ where the band developed into a new whole beast. ‘Relentless’ certainly bridges the gap from the 70s hard rock era to the heavy metal vibe of the early 80s and what would become Doom Metal….a true classic!
